Farragut is an incorporated town at the western edge of Knox County. It combines established subdivisions, newer construction, townhomes, parks and greenways with convenient access to the Turkey Creek commercial corridor and Fort Loudoun Lake. The Town of Farragut maintains five parks and more than 20 miles of greenway segments.
Traditional subdivisions, custom homes, golf-oriented neighborhoods, townhomes, patio homes and some lake-influenced properties. Lot, school assignment, renovation quality, neighborhood restrictions and proximity to major roads can affect buyer response.
Parks, Greenways and Local History
Farragut's public parks, connected greenway segments, historic resources and nearby commercial and lake destinations offer several ways to become familiar with the area. The Town of Farragut should be the primary source for current park, greenway, facility and municipal information. These resources describe the broader community. They do not establish distance, access, municipal boundaries, property value or convenience for a specific home.
Farragut maintains several public parks with different combinations of trails, fields, playgrounds, gathering spaces and recreational facilities. McFee Park, Anchor Park and Mayor Bob Leonard Park serve different parts of the community and should not be treated as interchangeable.

Founders Park at Campbell Station combines public green space with interpretive connections to the area's history. Its setting along Campbell Station Road makes it a recognizable municipal destination, but visitors should use official information for current access and facility details.
The park can also serve as a starting point for learning how the Campbell Station identity predates the modern Town of Farragut.
Farragut's greenway system includes multiple segments connecting parks, roads and residential areas. A mapped segment may include transitions involving sidewalks or streetways, so route details should be reviewed rather than assumed.
The Town provides current descriptions and mapping for major greenway segments, parking locations and connections. Conditions, construction and access can change.
The Turkey Creek corridor provides a large concentration of shopping, dining, services, entertainment and employment near Farragut and western Knoxville. It spans a broader commercial area and should not be described as though every destination is located inside the Town of Farragut.

Fort Loudoun Lake is part of the Tennessee River system and extends through Knox and neighboring counties. Public recreation opportunities exist around the reservoir, but shoreline proximity does not guarantee public access, a view, boat access or private water-use rights for a particular property.
Visitors should use official recreation maps and agency information to identify public facilities. Questions involving shoreline property, docks, permits or water-use rights require property-specific review and the appropriate agency guidance.
The Farragut Museum, Campbell Station Inn, Founders Park interpretive features and other sites help explain the area's history before and after the Town's incorporation. The Museum is located at Farragut Town Hall, while the Campbell Station Inn is a separate historic site.
